In the process of dealing with the cutting calculation of Multi-axis CNC Simulation, the traditional Voxel Model not only will cost large computation time when judging whether the cutting happens or not, but also the data points may occupy greater storage space. So it cannot satisfy the requirement of real-time emulation, In the construction method of Compressed Voxel Model, it can satisfy the need of Multi-axis CNC Simulation, and storage space is relatively small. Also the model reconstruction speed is faster, but the Boolean computation in the cutting judgment is very complex, so it affects the real-time of CNC Simulation indirectly. Aimed at the shortcomings of these methods, we propose an improved solid modeling technique based on the Voxel model, which can meet the demand of real-time in cutting computation and Graphic display speed.
