摘要

The aim of this investigation is to study the dynamic behavior of the Moshampa earth dam (Iran), considering dam-foundation interaction, under normalized Manjil earthquake as input motion. In order to assess the effect of the foundation widths in the finite element model on the earthquake response, various dam-foundation coupled models are analyzed by Plaxis, a finite element package for solving geotechnical problems. The results indicate considerable differences in the seismic responses.
