摘要

@@Coincided with the remarkable development of water conservancy in China, the proceeding of the 4th Conference on Water in Cold Region “ICE REGIMES IN COLD REGIONS AND HYDROLOGICAL EFFECTS OF FROZEN SOIL” is dedicated to the readers. This proceeding serves as a combination of 34 excellent scientific theses strictly and tastefully selected from all the papers that submitted to the 4th Conference on Water in Cold Region. With 3 different sections including water research in cold regions, ice regimes and frozen soil, and groundwater in cold regions, the proceeding in a coordinated fashion covers most of the important recent topics in the scientific applications of hydro-science in cold regions, which can be considered as a full display of new methods, new technologies and new achievements within the area of water resources in cold regions.
