摘要

A novel method for measurement of power line communications channel transmission characteristics on the basis of PN sequence's excellent periodic autocorrelation properties is presented and discussed in this article. In order to improve the measurement precision, a compensation method in frequency domain is proposed in this paper also. This measurement method can easily and quickly obtain channel characteristics including reliable amplitude and phase frequency response characteristics. The measurement experiment results basically consistent with the vector network analyzer's measurement results, which has demonstrated the efficiency of the measurement method.
