In this paper, a three-dimensional model of hollow sphere is constructed to analyze UWB interference to 3G systems under UWB emission power limit regulations of FCC, ETSI and Japan respectively. In addition, a performance degradation parameter of the victim receiver is defined to measure the maximum acceptable density of UWB transmitters. A series of theoretical analysis and simulation results reveal that UWB interference to TD-SCDMA is the weakest and the one to CMDA2000 is the strongest.
