Sintering of P/M parts in continuous sintering furnaces has undeniable advantages for serial production and has been practiced for decades. But the demand of energy and so the output of the greenhouse gas carbon dioxide is still quite high. So it would help the environment as well as the sinter parts manufacturers if the amount of energy and so the productions cost could be decreased.
