Semantic Case-Based Reasoning for virtual enterprises in project management

摘要

The information communication technology definitely encouraging global collaboration among enterprises on a project basis makes virtual enterprises possible and popular. Moreover, web service provides various advantages for facilitating co-operation between business partners in virtual enterprises. For improving the efficiency of project management in the cyber space, the semantic support becomes rather important to improve the understanding and communication of the content of projects for virtual enterprise. Therefore, Semantic-CBR framework is proposed for integrating the project experiences and providing the semantic representation for users to retrieve the useful references which are distributed in virtual enterprises. Furthermore, Case Based Reasoning is applied for selecting the similar solutions according to the given similar project problems. Then, the semantic description of OWL and RDF is proposed for improving the consistent understanding of project cases for virtual enterprises and provide the facility of reasoning mechanism for properly integrating and reusing the valued project experiences in the research.
