Observations from California's Unreinforced Masonry and Public School Programs and the California Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan

"What gets measured gets done" is an aphorism that could be more routinely applied in earthquake risk management. This paper draws lessons from three mitigation programs in California and describes ways to measure mitigation progress that can be adapted for future use.
