Risk assessment model for mining investment projects is constructed based on fuzzy neural network which is from the combination of fuzzy theory and neural networks. As the basic theory prototype, the fuzzy assessment method is expressed by the way of fuzzy neural network and the principle of deviation-backpropagation of neural network is used to carry out risk assessment by successivahy changing the right value, which overcome the shortages of over-reliance on experts ir traditional risk assessment methodology, etc, while making a good priori knowledge embedded in ine network. Introduction of fuzzy neural network has enriched and promoted the development of risk assessment theory and method.
