摘要

From the perspective of energy saving, this paper devised an energy-efficient node and proposed a new Power-Efficient Grooming Algorithm (PEGA) to reduce the average energy consumption for each demand. In order to reflect the improvement of energy efficiency property, the energy consumptions of core routers, transceivers, optical amplifiers and other components are all taken into account in PEGA under multi-constraints. Simulation results showed that, PEGA is able to save more energy than traditional algorithm.
