Preparation technics of thermochromic finishing auxiliaries have very important effect on function of thermochromic. Organic thermal materials were wrapped by microencapsulation, it can enhance the stability and wear of color changing. The function is relational with the ratio of core and shell, the rate of stirring super ultrasonic, the emulsifier, time and the temperature of reaction. Using melamine resin as the wall materials, the crystal violet lactone, stearic acid and tetradecanol as the core materials, and the emulsifying agent, xanthan gum aqueous as the protective colloid, have prepared the thermochromic microcapsule. Its color changes reversibly from purple to light yellow. The temperature of color changing of the microcapsule is 46°C, time of color changing is 25s, and the temperature and the time of color fading are 40°C and 49s.
