Feicheng coalfield sequence stratigraphy and correlation analysis of coal quality indicators

With the use of sequence stratigraphic research methods, we discuss Feicheng coalfield sedimentary system. The coal-bearing formation in research area is divided into three types, i.e. tidal flat depositional system, tidal flat (barrier)-lagoon depositional system and river controlled shallow water delta depositional system and division, identification, comparison and follow-up analysis of the system domain cell are also studied, then 17 small tectonic sequences of inland sea are obtained. On the basis of sequence stratigraphy research, we analyze the relationship of main coal seam sulfur and ash, sulfur and volatile, volatile and components and from depositional environment point of view, expound the depositional environment impacting on coal petrology elements, coal-forming substance and original environment. Coal quality indicators related causes are revealed.
