摘要

The Recurrence plot's recognizing performance is applied to structural damage detection in this paper. Signals, recorded at different locations on the structure, are used to reconstruct the phase space of the dynamic system and they are subsequently implemented to generate the multivariate recurrence matrix. Multivariate recurrence matrix is then used to construct a novel feature detecting damage combined with the singular entropy. The feasibility and applicability of proposed structural damage detection using singular entropy of recurrence matrix are verified by the numerical example.
