Preliminary Discussion on the Corporate Information Culture Construction in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises

Corporate information culture is the new form of corporate culture in the information era as well as an important component of enterprise information technology (IT) strategy. After reviewing the evolution history of information culture and corporate information culture, this paper discusses on the concept, structure and functions of corporate information culture. A 232 sample survey on corporate information culture construction of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Beijing shows that there are many issues existing in corporate information culture construction in SMEs. Some suggestions are given as the solution for those issues.
