摘要

Cervical Spondylomyelopathy (CSM) as a disease has a varied set of clinical signs, underlying disease mechanisms, and potential treatments. Our current knowledge of the disease continues to expand but lags far behind what is known about a similar disease in humans. A basic understanding of the disease mechanisms allows the clinician to make appropriate therapeutic recommendations. Improvements in the identification and treatment of this complicated disease are ongoing.
