On the basis of the basic theory of rock mechanics and basic method of opposite-well connectivity mining, this article puts forward the mechanism of cavity formation, the stages of cavity formation and the prospect of cavity reutilization by a comprehensive study, concerning with the laboratory model testing and the recording datum of water-soluble fracturing mining in salt mine.
