The Practice of Choosing High Quality 1/3 Coking Coal for Coke Making in Capital Steel

摘要

Nowadays, the quick development of iron making leads to a serious shortage of fat coal in coke making. To solve this problem, much experience has been acquired by Capital Steel of China in using high quality 1/3 coking, which is rich in China, for the manufacture of high quality metallurgical coke, and made some progress. The industrial production experience shows that a good choice and usage of 1/3 coking coal can not only save the consumption of fat coal and coking coal, but also decrease the cost of coal blend with the same or better quality of coke produced. And some useful experience is also obtained.
