摘要

The crude red palygorskite from Banqiao,Gansu was purifiod by Sodium Pyrophosphate and the phase of purified palygorskite was investigated by XRD,SEM and Laser Particle Analyzer.Modifiod by Span60,palygorskite was used as lubricating additive.Four-ball tester,gear machines,integrating sound level meters were appliod to study nanopalygorskite's tribological Performance.The results showed that palygorskite had less mineral impurities and achievod nanoparticles' range after purification.The optimization for water-based modification is 4 %,80°C and 40 min,while the optimization for oil-based modification is 1∶1 (Span-60:palygorskite),80°C and 20 min.The results of tribological experiments showod that the palygorskite has good anti-wear and friction-reducing performance as additive in lubricating oil.Compared with base oil,the friction coefficient,temperature of friction pair,consumed power of gear machine,noise and rubbed surface diameter of oil with additive were reduced by about 66.35 %,23.11%,9.43 %,3.19 % and 34.03 %,respectively.
