There are significant additional project risks with Wave and Tidal Stream projects at this time. These risks will have to be minimised where possible before building commercial demonstration schemes. The industry needs to address these to get project finance. Perceived risks will only be fully understood/mitigated once there are some real schemes installed and operating. This needs to happen soon!
