Bohai is a semi-close sea of China, which is confronted with serious problems on resource, environment and ecology. To match ENVISAT MERIS spectral band, this paper explores a semi-analytic ocean color retrieval model based on optimization method and Bohai in-situ data by putting forward two models: forward model which simulates remote sensing reflectance with ocean color constituents concentration and inversion model which retrieves the ocean color constituents concentration with seawater remote sensing reflectance. The results show that the simulation model with optimized parameters is more applicable to the research area, and the inversion model is feasible and robust although its practicability needs further validation.
