By only changing the control strategy to confine the PWM modulation for the blocked phase by processing only 22% amount of the power in high frequency to patch the gaps of the current waveforms, the common three-phase PWM rectifier circuit topology can implement unit power factor double feed rectifier. That only one current loop of the three-phase inputs is regulated and another is left as low resistance state makes the system very stable, even in the situations of three-phase unbalance and load fluctuation.
