During the pyrolysis process, with sawdust as the material of biomass, it always occur serious block in condenser, which influence the collection of bio-oil. Through analyze the change characteristics of bio-oil viscosity and substances of block in the inner tube of condenser, it can find out that the substance which caused the condenser block is the formation of fouling occurred by the heavier boiling component which boiling point is about 250°C seize the unseparated char of pyrolysis gas. The reason for condenser's block is that, while condensates drop down along the inner wall of tubes due to gravity, surface condensation effect causes the increase of bio-oil's viscosity and meanwhile blockers of surface stick together a bit more, so that the thickness of fouling increases more and more, and finally leads to the block of tubes.
