As to the influence of different temperature of exhaust gas entered into high pressure generator and low pressure generator on operating two-stage waste heat LiBr-H2O absorption chiller with heat pipe, this paper has carried on thermodynamic and heat transfer calculation detailedly. It was pointed that when the temperature of inlet and outlet gas were given, the refrigerating capacity (RC) and the coefficient of performance (COP) increased with decreasing the middle temperature of exhaust gas. The quantity of heat absorbed in high pressure generator was bigger, in low pressure generator, however, it was smaller than before. Owing to the variation of middle temperature, heat transfer coefficients were changed in each generator. So, the heat transfer area of separated heat pipe increased in high pressure generator, while decreased in low pressure generator, but the total area increased and the range of optimum middle temperature of exhaust gas was given.
