Rectangle Waveguide Filter With Out-off-band Extracted Poles

摘要

This article introduces a new way of improving the roll-off at the band edges of a rectangle waveguide filter. The method is adding an E-pIane T-junction to a rectangle waveguide filter in 7 orders to assign a pole on certain Out-off-band frequency to fulfill the aim of improving the roll-off at the filter band edges. By using this method, the roll-off of a narrowband rectangle waveguide septa-filter has been improved, and the software simulation result also proved the theory analyses.
