Simulation Experiment Research on Mining Coal in Deep Inclined Thin Coal Seam

In our nation, 20% of the coal reserves are thin coal seam. A coal mining in thin seam has been an inevitable issue of coal mining in many coal mines with the depletion of the coal. For the rational exploitation and the adequate utilization, there have been a large number of practices and theoretical researches in order to increase the recovery rate of coal. Based on the geological conditions and the storage state in the median space of Da'anshan coal mine, this paper studies the roof fall condition and the strata pressure laws when exploiting gateway in deep inclined thin seam. Use similarity simulation theory and similar material simulation experiment in the experiment, combine coal and rock's physical mechanical experiment and observe the failure course of coal and rock. It's better that taking no coal pillar and single seam mines coal in deep inclined thin coal seam in security and economy by comparison in the same condition. The method and the consequence are very important in the other pertinent theoretical researches and productive practices.
