The paper describes a gold, silver and copper recovery process from slag produced by electrolytic sludge melting. The process consists in a combined technology of physical preconcentration and hydrometallurgical processing of the preconcentrate representing 3 – 4% weight. Silver and copper are solubilized by nitric leaching. The silver is obtained by selective precipitation of the silver chloride and reducing to metallic silver as powder form with 95% purity. Cooper is obtained by iron cementation. The tailing with gold content from nitric acid leaching is treated by wet chlorination to solubilize gold, which is then extracted and purified by ion exchange. The gold is separated from the gold eluate by reducing to a fine gold powder form with 999,96 ‰ Au content after melting.
