Future challenges of grid integration

摘要

The proposed paper presents current situation of wind energy integration in the electrical systems. The main problems are exposed, especially those regarding the characteristics of the resource, and those regarding technical requirements. In one hand, technical solutions for electrical systems stability such as system balancing or storage systems are proposed, and in the other hand, the importance of a harmonization of grid codes to be more efficient and development of infrastructures to transport and distribute generated energy is also emphasized.
