Analysis of the Trapezoidal Modulation for Current Source Inverters

In this paper are derived, for the trapezoidal modulation, the formula of the n order harmonic current, and on the basis of these relations, depending on pulse number for a time period, it can be determined the optimal value for modulation index for cancellation or certain harmonics reduction.
