Preparation and characterization of myricetin dispersible tablets

Objective: To prepare myricetin dispersible tablets and investigate its related properties. Methods: Screen initiallythe prescription of myricetin dispersible tablets and optimized the best prescription by using L9(34) orthogonal design which took the appearance, the dissolution rate of the tables and the suspension ability of the tables' solution as indices. The in vitro dissolution rate of 45min was determined by ultraviolet spectrophotometry. Results: The optimized tablets are fine in appearance, disintegrated within 1min and the dissolution rate is more than 90% at 45min. Conclusion: The preparation craft of myricetin dispersible tablets is simple and feasible. The tablet related properties are good.
