Bronze bearing materials mixed with graphite has been produced by powder metallurgy method which have some advantages on mechanical properties compared to other bearing materials. This research aim is to observe the effect of graphite addition to bronze bearing materials contain of Cu-Sn-Zn on mechanical properties such as, porosity/density, hardness, compressive strength, wear abrasive rate, and micro structural analysis. The graphite used various from 0; 0,5; 1; 1,5; to 2 percent wt. It is found that the optimum graphite addition to bronze bearing is 1 to 1.5 wt percent. At this condition graphites have contributed as reinforcement as well as lubrication which are well coupled by Sn and Zn from bronze during sintering. The optimum density, hardness, compressive strength are 6,67 g/cm~3, 55 BHN, and 538 MPa respectively while the minimum porosity and wear abrasive rate are 23,3 percent and 1.88 X 10~(-6) mm~3/mm respectively.
