A new selective precipitate copper slag treating process was provided, which could utilize metal resources more comprehensively and effectively. Microstructure of slag was observed by metallographic microscope and SEM. Phases composition ascertained by EDX and XRD. Grain size and crystallizing quantity of magnetite (Fe<,3>O<,4>) were determined by Quantimet 520 imagine analyzer. The results show that average grain size of magnetite particle is grown from 25μm to 95μm and the element iron is enriched into magnetite phase from 22% to 86 % during cooling process with cool rate 5K/min after the oxidizing.
