PVC Profile manufacturers are experiencing ever increasing pressure from both domestic and foreign competition. The need to achieve and maintain optimum productivity and product performance has never been greater. To reach that objective, PVC formulators are seeking to incorporate cutting edge technology to provide the advantage they need to not only stay competitive, but enable them to attain new levels of productivity and product performance. This presentation highlights the advantages of incorporating Honeywell's High Performance Lubricants (HPL's) into PVC Profile Formulations to maximize productivity by reducing Extruder Load, maintaining optimum melt temperatures during the extrusion process and extending production runs for intricate profile configurations. Processing optimization can also yield additional savings in compound cost as Stabilizer usage can be reduced to take advantage of the improved dynamic stability of the PVC formulation.
