Analysis of Air Curtain Applied in Subway Station to Prevent Smoke

摘要

In this paper, the air curtain is used at the exit of stair in the subway station to ensure the safety evacuation, based on the structure of the station and the regulation of smoke diffusion in the fire. Smoke diffusion controlled by smoke-prevention air curtain is simulated and analyzed by CFD, when a train catches fire. The result indicates that more than 6 minutes for safe evacuation can be got by smoke-prevention air curtain.
