A new generation of materials and products

The PM technology for light metals has meanwhile replaced several ferrous powder applications and other materials and is on its way to create new applications/possibilities.In the last few years there was the development of a completely new range of products made from Aluminum powders: Sintered Aluminium powders like ALUMIX~®, extrusion sintered Al powders like ECKPAL~®, Al foam parts via PM-route like ALULIGHT~® and further products like brazing wire. In principle it is always Al powder or Al alloyed powders that are pre-pressed with different pressing methods. With the following second or finishing pressing parts with almost final dimensions or precursor for the foaming process are produced. Having the complete range of production units in the Ecka Granules Group is essential to create the synergies which are necessary to be competitive in a limitless world market.
