A series of phase change materials (PCMs) microemulsion were prepared with a certain proportion of emulsifier, co-emulsifier, water and phase change materials by the titration method. The pseudo-ternary phase diagram of microemulsion system was drawn. The effects of preparation processes of PCMs microemulsion on the particle sizes and the pseudo-ternary phase diagram were studied.' Then nanoencapsulated phase change materials with urea-formaldehyde resin as shell was prepared. The phase transition temperature and enthalpy of nanoencapsulated phase change materials were tested by means of differential scanning calorimeter (DSC). The particle sizes of those were determined by nano particle size analyzer.
