PRODUCTION OF SYNTHESIS GAS BY BIOMASS GASIFICATION

As background to the main topic, cofiring biomass to coal gasifiers that are producing synthesis gas, and wood gasifiers that produce synthesis gas, diluted with nitrogen, to inject as fuel into utility boilers will be highlighted. After highlighting these two preliminary topics, the main topic will be presented.
