Improved Standards for AC-DC Transfer

摘要

The paper presents an overview of ac-dc transfer calibrations at NMI as the basis for the traceability of the measurements of alternating voltage, current and power in Australia. A range of new primary and working standards for voltage and current ac-dc transfer measurements, with improved uncertainty and ranges, is introduced. Special emphasis is given to the improved techniques for the characterisation of primary thermal converters that lead to lower uncertainties.
