Communication in the Smart Grid

摘要

The smart grid needs to accommodate increased customer demands for improved energy efficiency. The communication infrastructure in smart grid is important part which needs to meet several factors such as reliability and security the grid require reliable communication link, it's important to consider reliability and security. This paper discusses the different layers of the smart grid network based on a TCP/IP model. In addition, the applicable protocols and strategies are provided according to accommodate the smart grid applications.
