Agricultural Mechanization Strategies and Chances in Shanxi Province after China Joined the WTO

摘要

The present status of agricultural mechanization level in Shanxi province was analyzed. Challenges and chances, which were brought after China' s joining the WTO, were summarized in this paper. In line with the local conditions, some appropriate strategies on agricultural mechanization in Shanxi province were put forward as follows: to take advantage of China's joining the WTO, to optimize agricultural structure, to promote scientific and technological innovation, to develop agricultural industrialization and information technology, to establish a prefer system of laws and policies.
