Mathematical Model for Smoke-Preventing Air Curtain

摘要

Through analyzing smoke-flow field theoretically, it is discussed that the effect of air flow on a high-rise building is as a result of gas expansion by the temperature, the chimney effect and the outdoor wind power. The flow field of the smoke diffusion at the staircase door and the flow field of air curtain can therefore theoretically be found. The mathematical model for the smoke-preventing air curtain is advanced according to the principle of flow line - flow rate. According to experimental researches, the validity of mathematical model is tested and verified.
