With the ongoing development of network computing, it is crucial to able to schedule and manage the available computing resources accurately and efficiently. In this paper, we present a scalable service discovery scheme and resource assignment strategy for network computing systems. We first introduce the architecture of task scheduling and resource management system followed by a discussion of the approaches needed to ensure the validity of resources and fault tolerant computing. Furthermore, the experiment is done to demonstrate the scalability, robustness and efficiency of service discovery scheme and resource assignment strategy as proposed. Finally, throughout the course of the experiment, we compare the performances of different resource scheduling algorithms based on different assigning policies.
