The INTEGRAL satellite carrying IREM (the radiation environment monitor) was launched in October of 2002 and the small satellite RHESSI in February of the same year, to study the radiation environment and the high energy solar activity. Since then IREM provides continuous information about the protons and electrons along the orbit. RHESSI explores the basic physics of particle acceleration and the explosive energy release in solar flares. The end of October 2003 was full of extreme solar events: powerful X flares and several CMEs (Coronal Mass Ejections), which drastically changed the earth radiation environment, inserting huge amounts of charged particles and causing geomagnetic storms. We try to find correlations between CME and the solar flares of 28 October. We see temporal and spatial coincidence of these two events and also observe an increase of hardness of flares, indicating that heating and some internal particle acceleration takes place before the early stage of reorganization of the magnetic field structure.
