Research of Geographic Information System of Flood Prevention and Control in Poyang Lake Area

摘要

This paper first gives a collective frame of Geographic Information System of flood prevention and control in Poyang Lake Area, including 6 functional subsystems as engineering information, rainfall and flood regimen, flood diagnose, emergency treating direction, submergence analysis and statistics and Internet total inquiry. Based on ArcInfo, with Oracle as a database server, this paper develops and sets up Geographic Information System of flood prevention and control in Poyang area in object oriented visualizing language Visual Basic, by the way of module software developing. Finally, the system is used in the decision of flood prevention and control in Poyang Lake area with a sound result, setting a example for the application of GIS in flood prevention and control.
