摘要

A LiBr absorption chiller based on whole plate-fin heat-exchange cells was built up in our lab, and its structure and performance are described in this paper. Calculation shows that, with same heat-transfer effect, plate-fin unit is only 42% volume of the tube-shell one, saving 58% volume. The most volume cell of unit is absorber, which is 56% volume of tube-shell one, saving 44%. It is obvious that plate-fin unit can save much volume and metal.
