The energy derived from fossil fuels has led to the creation of high level of air pollution. Further, the fossil fuels are depleting and their prices are increasing. It is thus imperative to think of renewable energy using hydrogen as a fuel. Japanese government through its WE-NET programme entrusted Westing-house, Toshiba and Mitsubishi heavy industries to develop hydrogen based combustion turbine system to yields the plant efficiency greater than 70.9%. In the present work, mathematical modeling has been formulated to predict the performance of hydrogen-fueled combustion turbine cycle. The parametric study has been carried out which will help the design engineer to select the suitable parameters.
