With the widespread use of internet, the need of multimedia copyright protection systems is increasingly important. In this paper suggested is a novel copyright protection method in which content providing service is differentiated by providing multi-layered watermarked contents depending on client's level. Clients are categorized into paid user group and free user group. The paid user group is provided high-quality contents, while free uscr group is provided with low-quality and visibly watermarked contents. In this approach, watermark is used to differentiate content service level by manipulating strength of embedded watermark.
