摘要

Paper presents researches results of coal pitch thermal preparation (thermolysis) catalyzed with TiO2 and carried out within temperatures range form 300°C up to 410°C. It has been proved that due to catalytic influence of titanium dioxide the contents of 16 PAHs according to EPA decreases and the contents of benzo(a)pyrene is 5 times smaller. Lower content of determined 4, 5 and 6-ring hydrocarbons in both pitch and liquid product samples obtained during pyrolysis has also been observed.
