Zhaoye gold zone is located at Lubei Upwarp of North China Platform, south limb of Qixia-Yexian anticlinorium with axis of east-west extending. It is bordered on the east of Yishu large fractured zone. In this area, E—W & NE structures are well developed and formed the fundamental structure pattern of the area. In this area, the major part are covered with Quaternary, the outcropped strata are mainly Archaeozoic Jiaodong Group comprising regional metamorphic rocks of amphibolite facies. The major rock types are amphibolite, biotite leptynite and biotite-plagioclase-horn-blende gneiss and minor amount of schist and marble. The structures are mainly fractures & joints. From west to east, successively occurred Jiaojia fracture, Hexi fracture and Wangershan fracture. They are mainly NE-trending in large scale. Among these fractures, NE & NEE trending metasomatic-anatectic granite are widely outcropped. These are the subsidiary structure in the host rocks of orebody.
