The functions of facilities often have to be optimised regarding all requirements. To optimise effectively, we must analyse the present situation and refer to optimising future requirements. For each aspect of facility management, we should use real time data, and not store data which are sometimes never used anymore. For integrating real time data systematically, 3D scanning is simple and the best, but there are still some difficulties in such methods. We can employ an embedded system with RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) and AR (augmented reality) system with mobile computers. With this combination, we have the following possibilities of; 1. Fast and easy grasp of the basic data of facilities through RFID and virtual realizing with AR 2. Visual comparison between the basic data and the present situation, and the adjustment of data 3. The ability to see through obstacles 4. Simulation of consequences Both, RFID and AR systems, are already existing products, offered as mobile or wearable devices in the market.
