Root physiology in apple trees

摘要

Roots are important for increasing fruit yield and improving fruit quality. It is reviewed the formation and growth of new roots, the perception of roots to environmental signals, and the regulation of roots to over-ground parts. At last, the fact is enumerated that root tips are looked on as "head" or "brain" of plants.
